Naturally, anticipation is already high for this celebration of the best of the best in country music. Nothing is quite like being a part of such a fabulous festival. Those of you who were lucky enough to be there last year vividly remember Luke Bryan and Dierks Bently admirably handling the hosting duties, as well as all the live performances. You can bet your turquoise Tony Lama boots that the ante will be raised once again with high-voltage bedazzled suits and the never-ending stream of your favorite old and new stars. Every year the show outdoes itself, and this year will be no exception. Vegas production standards are extraordinary, and a good time will be had by all. Even those who are nominated but don’t win have fun. They might be disappointed, but they still have a great time being part of the assembly of all those musicians.
At last year’s show, Florida Georgia Line won the Vocal Duo of the Year and Miranda Lambert took the honors for Single Record of the Year with “Mama’s Broken Heart.” The Radio Awards nominees were just announced, and the rest will be released slowly, just to keep you in suspense. We’ll let you know on our blog when the big announcement is made, so keep an eye on it.
Don’t settle for going to your friend’s home for a small intimate gathering with Buffalo wings and ranch dressing. It’s more fun to do your own dressing at your room in Vegas and catch a limo over to the show. Of course, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the attendant attractions that take place all week long, not to mention the many and varied charms of Las Vegas.
Pick up some tickets for your and yours, and get down to a real party. You’ll be happier that a freshly painted fence.
