2027 Tony Awards VIP Tickets

It’s fantastic that there are so many Broadway shows being produced lately because it makes the Tony Awards even better! This glamorous event might just be our personal favorite award show. Every year, more than 30 diverse productions vie for more than two dozen awards ranging from Best New Musical to Best Choreography. Although the Tonys are celebrating 80 years, they haven’t lost their glamour with age. Like any great Broadway star, they know how to celebrate in style. We can’t wait to tell you more about our VIP Tony Awards tickets and after-party passes for 2027.

When Are the 2027 Tony Awards?

The 80th Annual Tony Awards are expected to go down on Sunday, June 6, 2027, in never bored or sleepy New York City. This legendary award show is returning to its traditional home at the Radio City Music Hall for the third consecutive year. Naturally, VIP Concierge is standing by with VIP Tony tickets for yourself and whoever you decide to bring along for the ride and all the fun of not just the award show, but the parties! And these aren’t just neighborhood get-togethers.

The parties going down during the Tony Awards are legendary for being the coolest of the cool. They’re typically only for those with industry connections and sway. That’s just one more reason to work with VIP Concierge. You get sway by the bunch, like bananas, when you work with us. Who else can set you up with tickets to the biggest and best award show dedicated to live theater? [Cue the crickets, or maybe it should be honking taxi horns.] New York also serves up a hearty dose of nightlife whether you plan on clubbing your way through Midtown or seeing world-class jazz in Lower Manhattan.

What Are the Tony Awards?

The Tony awards are one of the big four award shows. They’re comparable to the Emmys® for achievements in television, the Grammys® for songwriting and musical performances and the Oscars®, which recognize the year’s greatest films. Just a handful of stars have been able to win one of each! EGOT winners include all-time greats like Rita Moreno, Mel Brooks, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tim Rice and Elton John. More recent winners include champions like John Legend, Jennifer Hudson and Viola Davis.

Why are they called the Tony awards anyway? Did you know the award is officially known as the Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Broadway Theatre, but they almost always go by their nickname. Tonys are handed out jointly by the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League, two theater associations that advocate for the industry and its members. The award was first conceived in 1947, and it’s been an annual tradition in New York City ever (*evah*) since.

Nominations, Revivals, Award-Winning Plays and More

Broadway’s cool because it welcomes the old, the new, the newly old and the oldly new. In other words, revivals! Plays that were hot in the past like Ragtime  and Rocky Horror are dug out of the storage locker, dusted off, recast and reborn — usually to the kind of accolades that new films or songs get. New plays are treated like treasure maps. And stage versions of books and films invariably find the path to the great white way.

Theater stays the same by changing. Every show is different, and every night brings something new. This is true on Broadway and during the industry’s biggest award show. Like any Broadway fan, we get excited about the long list of nominees. And we love to speculate about who will be chosen for their work over the 2026-2027 season.

In addition to honoring hard-working Broadway stars, the Tonys have recognized Hollywood stalwarts like Jessica Lange, Billy Crystal, Hugh Jackman and Sam Rockwell. Innovators like Joel Gray and John Kander have been honored for their career achievements. Don’t you wish you could have been there to see these iconic moments?

2026 Tony Award Winners

While we wait to discuss the next crop of nominees, let’s take a quick look at some of the big winners from the latest edition of this celebrated award show.

  • The Lost Boys (based on the 1987 cult classic), Ragtime and Schmigadoon!, which were among the year’s most-nominated productions, won four awards each. Schmigadoon!  took home the coveted award for Best Musical as well as a Tony for Best Original Score.
  • Death of a Salesman, which starred Nathan Lane and was helmed by controversial writer Scott Rudin, was the year’s most-decorated production with six wins, including Best Revival!
  • Bess Wohl’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Liberation earned this year’s Tony for Best Play.
  • Hollywood veteran John Lithgow earned a Tony for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of author Roald Dahl in the play Giant.
  • Alden Ehrenreich surprised the crowd with a Tony nomination and win for his debut Broadway role in Becky Shaw, proving that even an actor best known for playing a young Hans Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story has the chops needed to win off the screen.
  • The Lost Boys castmates Ali Louis Bourzgui and Shoshana Bean took home Tonys for Best Actor and Best Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical.
  • Ragtime costars Caissie Levy and Joshua Henry received Tonys Best Actress and Actor in a Musical, cementing their status as two of today’s most talented stage performers.

What Happened at the 2026 Tony Awards?

The Tony Awards honor the year’s best plays, musicals and revivals, but fans are treated to a whole lot more. Awards are presented by A-list stars that represent a who’s who of the stage and screen. If you attend the Tony Awards or one of the banging after-parties, you’re sure to see some of the biggest multi-talented actors, singers and dancers as well as the writers, directors and producers who make these spectacular productions possible.

Award Show Highlights

  • The 2026 Tony awards were hosted by pop superstar and Moulin Rouge! actor P!nk. A flock of A-listers helped her announce the winners and present the awards.
  • The opening performance dubbed “Leading Lady Marmalade” featured 170 Broadway performers, including P!nk and big name stars like Neil Patrick Harris, Lea Michele and Megan Thee Stallion. Wow!
  • The original cast of The Book of Mormon reunited to entertain the show and celebrate the show’s 15th anniversary with help from Tony winner Nikki M. James and Tony nominees Josh Gad, Andrew Rannells and Rory O’Malley.
  • Fans were also treated to performances for all four Best Musical nominees and three Best Musical Revival nominees, including: The Lost Boys, Schmigadoon!, Titaníque, and Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York); Cats: The Jellicle Ball, Ragtime and The Rocky Horror Show.
  • Awards were presented by a long list of stars from the screen and stage. Some of the most notable faces included Adrien Brody, Annette Bening, Ariana DeBose, Bernadette Peters, Billy Crystal, John Leguizamo, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Kristin Chenoweth. And that’s just those with names B-C.
  • As if that wasn’t enough, Oscar-nominee Queen Latifah (Matron Mama Morton) was joined by Alex Newell, Adrienne Warren, Cedric The Entertainer, Julianne Hough and Jesse Tyler Ferguson to celebrate the hit musical Chicago. The legendary musical debuted in 1975 and was revived in 1996 after a run of over 936 performances.

From smash burgers and Frosted Flakes to paella and ethnic specialties, the food at these parties is as diverse as the attendees.

At past parties, our VIPs have enjoyed champagne and fresh fruit while rocking out to the Spice Girls and hanging out with celebrities like Josh Groban, Michelle Williams, Ben Platt and Alex Newell. With over 20 years of experience providing tickets to award shows and A-list events, we can get you and your crew into some of the hottest (and coolest) Tony after-parties. What We Love About the Tony Awards

If you admire the artistry of live theater as much as we do, the Tony Awards are a must-see. These aren’t just actors; they’re actors who can sing and dance too. In addition to spectacular awards presentations, fans love the live performances and revues. You could be there as the stars recreate incredible moments from the year’s most popular Broadway productions. In 2027, the award show celebrates its 80th anniversary. You can be sure that the award show will be extra-extra special and the after-parties will be wilder than ever. If you’re interested in attending one of the biggest award shows on the East Coast, we can get you in the door.

Book Your VIP Tickets to the 80th Annual Tony Awards

Since the full lineup of nominees and celebrity guests is too numerous to list, we’ll conclude by bringing you the good news that we have VIP tickets to the 2027 Tony Awards. Typically, we have a selection of mid-section mezzanine tickets that will put you front and center at one of New York City’s most storied venues. This year, we also have floor/orchestra seats. Most packages include access to an extra-special pre-show party. We also have passes to the star-studded after-parties that you really, really want. Check out our selection of tickets online, or give us a call to learn more about our VIP ticket options. Make sure to check out our seating chart to select the best option for your budget!

Don’t delay. Pick up a pair or two before they sell out! Someone else is probably watching the calendar too. Get your tickets to the Tony Awards and any other plays that you’d like to see on or off Broadway before that other person buys them all. We’d hate to see that happen to you. That would be a tragedy worthy of Aeschylus or Arthur Miller. Get in touch with VIP Concierge, and be there for the Tony Awards’ 80th edition!
